This week’s edition of WWE Smackdown Live featured the conclusion of this year’s WWE Superstar Shakeup, with names like Samoa Joe, The Bar and Asuka making the move to the blue brand.

This week’s WWE Smackdown also featured Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles vs Rusev and Aiden English, Carmella’s Title win “‘Mellabration”, and Samoa Joe vs Sin Cara.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Smackdown viewership averaged 2.796 million viewers, which is down from last week’s 2.952 million viewership average. Last week’s Smackdown was the post-WrestleMania 34 edition of the show, which drew the highest WWE Smackdown viewership number in the past year.

This week’s WWE Smackdown ranked #5 in overall cable television viewership for the night.
