NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler made a big announcement at Friday night’s house show in Jacksonville, FL. The women’s division of the black-and-yellow brand will be getting their own exclusive event when NXT returns to the city on December 5th.

Nothing has been officially announced by WWE at this time with regards to any potential plans to air the show on the WWE Network, live or otherwise.

The house show takes place on a Thursday night, so it wouldn’t be in the way of their usual programming. They could also record the event and run it over that weekend, or perhaps as a part of the TLC pay-per-view weekend on December 15th.

Some of the top names in the NXT women’s division include champion Baszler, Io Shirai, Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair, former UK Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley and Mia Yim.

Names like Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, Taynara Conti, Aliyah and Vanessa Bourne have also been featured, and that’s not even including talent from the NXT UK brand if they were to bring in more names, so there are plenty of Superstars to fill out an all-women’s match card.
